Top of the sub chains. I really like their jersey point system. A touch expensive but worth it. If you like cheesesteak and spicy, try the Big Kahuna #56 ..my fav.

We stopped in for my friends Birthday and she got a free sub and drink. It was my first visit and I was very impressed with the customer service. Especially Ashley who was so kind and recommended a great sandwich for me. I liked that she encouraged me to try something different and had lots of options. This will be my "go-to" place for lunch dates!

Love subs from this place, I get the italian everytime. Honestly not much more than getting a footlong from Subway and ten times better. Love how everything is sliced fresh in front of you.

Although it's late at night , 20 minutes until closing Tony gave me 5 star service. It was a busy day of work , errands & the gym, plus several protein shakes & the only food of substance throughout the day was 6 ounces of crushed lentil soup. So finally venturing home at 8:30 , I wanted a Qdoba naked burrito, BUT the Qdoba at Auburn & Rochester Rd. is less than sub par, as Ive gotten sick there twice. I had hoped to try Chipotle, but I would have been the 12th person in line, okay so the new Jersey Mikes it is! [ sorry for the rabbit trail , but I felt the need to explain my hunger & dilemma ] Walked in & got the over the top welcome to Jersey Mikes from Tony, a very positive & energetic young man! He inquired what brought you in today? "That I was hungry"! Oh I thought you came in for the charity promo? I replied :I did get an email abotu it, ty for the reminder: Every Jersey Mikes on 3-27-13 donated 100% of sales to local charities, VERY NICE 7 97.1 Stoney & Bill broadcast live from 5:30 - 10 am Okay back to dinner, Ive been on a bread sabbatical throughout lent , so it was a Hersey Mikes "SUB IN A TUB" for me! I ordered the club - mini Turkey -Roast Beef- Ham - Bacon Provolone Cheese-Chopped Lettuce-Jalapenos -Banana Peppers-Pepper Relish-Thin Sliced Onions- with plenty of that MIKES WAY DRESSING! Oh My Goodness! It was truly a delight for my tummy! And am plotting my next visit! Tony also turned me onto & signed me up for the Jersey Mikes Rewards probram

My favorites are the Cheese Steaks! While it is nothing to write home about, I'm a fan. They are fast, friendly, clean and on the ball. They have a good selection of subs and all the ones I have tried are fresh and very tasty. I prefer the hot subs, but the cold ones are very good too.

Fresh bread = fresh yum! This was my first visit to this chain. I enjoyed the #56 Big Kahuna cheese steak and added Chipotle mayo and cherry pepper relish! The bread was fresh with a nice chew. Held up very well to the moist steak and cheese. The steak was super tender. I'm excited to go back and try a traditional Italian sub. They have red-wine vinegar and oil that is supposed to be super yum. The inside was extremely clean, and staff very pleasant. I'm not sure it has a different 'niche' than say Dibellas Old Fashion subs, or other shops. They have some wraps which sound yummy, and aren't in the mainstream sub shops. The cheese steaks are an exciting option for me.

In the war of over-priced sandwich shops, there is no shortage of combatants here in Rochester. We have Jimmy Johns, Chomp, a variety of bistros, and now we have Jersey Mikes. Seeing that they were somewhat new in town, I had to give them a try. Initial glance at the menu shows your standard sandwich shop selection, italian, turkey, ham, club, etc. All meat is sliced at the time the sandwich is ordered. There is a modest selection of fresh veggies along with the expected condiments. So far so good. Then come the prices. noticably more expensive than Jimmy Johns. Sandwiches are a dollar or more more expensive here at Jersey Mike's. So I proceed to order, I went with the Original Italian prepared "Mike's way" (everything on it). As I mentioned, the meat is frreshly sliced for each sandwich, which is nice. My disappointment started when I saw how small a regular sandwich actually is... only 7.5 inches. Again, compared to Jimmy John's quite small. Jersey Mike's is losing so far. Time to eat. The sandwich itself was admittedly very good. The dressing and seasoning were very flavorful, the bread was great and the ingredients were fresh. All in all it was a very satisfying sandwich, the problem is I was still hungry when I was finished. Perhaps I should have ordered the "Giant size"... but it is $12.95 and there is no way in hell I am paying that much for a sandwich when I could elsewhere and get a steak for the same price. The verdict: Good sandwich, probably equal to Jimmy Johns in terms of quality and taste, but terrible value. I doubt I'll eat here again. Pros: Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, great tasting dressing Cons: Way over-priced, skimpy serving size

We had a catering order from this location for work. We had a major customer and lunch was made perfect and service was very good. Manager Corina Melinte took care of our order and made sure this event would be successful for us. Major thanks to Corina and here team for there amazing service. Definitely would recommend ordering lunches for companies from here. Awesome awesome awesome subs.

- Fresh and Fast! - Great Variety - You can get anything as a "sub-in-a-tub" (salad) I'll start off by saying my favorite here is the "99 plus Cherry Pepper Relish". This sub of greatness is a hybrid of the Big Kahuna (#56 - steak and cheese with onions,

This is basically the sub sandwich equivalent of "Jake's Wayback Burgers" (see my review on that): not a commonplace Subway of Jimmy John's clone, nor a factory of oversized monstrosities like Dibella's, but a strong middle-tier candidate. They're genuine, solid, and faithful, much like the geyser. They make a mean Italian sub, and they cut up the meat right there, which is nice to see and makes me feel better about what I'm eating. Though you can customize what you want on it, they'll often ask you if you want it "Mike's way" (basically everything, much like Jake's across the street). What an amazing lunch delight! Sure, you're gonna throw down a little more coin than your round-the-corner chain, but I sure appreciate some solid ingredients when I get them.

Food is very good and consistent. But the real reason I feel good about spending money there is the staff is always very friendly and willing to take an extra moment to have a real connection. It can get a little bit pricey but the value is there if you look for it.

I really like this Jersey Mike's! The staff is really friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. I have been limiting my bread, luckily at Jersey Mike's you can get any sub in a tub - it makes an amazing salad! Not very often can I say a salad filled me up, but at Jersey Mike's it did! I try and visit here anytime I am in the neighborhood.

My car died in the middle of rochester road and I happened to come into Jersey Mike's as I was waiting for the tow truck. The staff members hooked me up with a free sub and pop because I was having such a crazy day. I'll definitely be back based on their generosity alone!! Very clean and great food.

Made it two visits before reviewing. Both visits were on a Saturday afternoon and very busy, so it seems they are doing something right. Friendly staff, clean, service was quick. Prices were okay, maybe a buck or two more than Jimmy Johns, nothing to get uptight about. Let's say, will be back for future visits.

Avoid at all cost!! Got their Big Kahuna steak sub there Thursday night. Tasted ok - seemed like a normal steak sub. 3 hours later I started throwing up (food poisoning) and didn't stop for the next 14 hrs. Clearly something either wrong with either their food storage or cleanliness policies - seemed like a very young inexperienced staff working there
